It's hard to believe that it's only been 4 months. When each day is new and different it feels more like a month worth of regular days. We have NO regrets for our decision. We LOVE this rootless lifestyle. We are hoping to do this for 10 years or so. But, if we had to stop tomorrow, we would say "That was WONDERFUL!"

Total Days: 122
Total Miles: 6600 (average = 54/day)
Total gas cost: $1,584 (.24/mile)
Total campsite rent: $1029 (average 8.50/day - includes lots of free places)
Total RV maintenance costs: $1,013

Four months on the road.
We've been so busy, I totally forgot our 4 month anniversary! We left Fort Lauderdale on April 16, 2004. On August 16 we were here in Redmond, Oregon. Here's the approximate route we followed. For more detail, go to the weblog cover page at www.jimandchris.com
