It's raining, drizzling, and gray. And my mood is matching.

My last post was about what a good day that was :-)
The contrast reminds me of a passage from The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran
Then a woman said, Speak to us of Joy and Sorrow.
And he answered:
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.
The lesson is that dreary days are not to be condemned, they are to be appreciated since it is only in the contrast that you can appreciate the sunny, joyful days!
