Summit is over

We had breakfast with Joe and Alex. Lots of laughter, especially when we all got into Google Photos troubleshooting mode! Alex has a pixel phone and as soon as he taps the Edit photo button it shows up with save a copy. All the rest of us can save as long as we don't use any premium editing features. We could not figure it out, but we had a lot of fun trying. (finally figured it out and I wrote it up here.)

After we checked out of our hotel room, we found a corner in the mezzanine where we could set up our computers and join our 7am Toastmasters meeting. That's 12 noon here.

Jim made reservations at a small hotel just about a mile away from where we were. It started to drizzle outside so we unpacked our rain jackets and headed out.

I am wasted. We got to our room and collapsed. But then we got hungry 😀. It's just a 2 block walk to Leinster Arms, a traditional pub where we had fish and chips ... And beer!
We struck up a conversation with some others who were from ... Florida! Oakland Park no less. They had just spent a month in Paris and loved it. They spoke of getting on the subway and just riding it till it's end, then wandering around wherever they were. Sounds fun.

Slept great and had no plans the next day, just rest. Joined our Martin meeting for as long as the hotel wifi held out, then we went for a walk in Kensington gardens and found another nice pub, Mitre where we had a beef pie, bangers an mash and beer!

Tomorrow the plan is to meet up with Phil, Tracey, Sue, and Robert for a beer festival tomorrow. Oh boy!
