Greetings from Indiana
I must have had a prophetic feeling when I wrote about how nice it was to have a motorhome rather than a tent last night. There was a REAL storm in the middle of the night. Thunder, lightning and torrential rain. I felt so sorry for the people in the little tents. There was one father and son who were traveling by bicycle. They told me about the river going thru their tent!
Anyway, after traveling another 200 miles today, here's where we are:
Immediately after passing Columbus, Ohio - the land flattened out. No more hills, just flatland and cornfields.
One thing that strikes you as you travel America's highways is the quantity of trucks on the road. Freight may travel on planes and trains, but it's still trucking that is the backbone of commerce.
So now we're at
Walnut Ridge RV Resort. We stopped at a Walmart Supercenter on the way here and stocked the refrigerator. Here's our yummy dinner: grilled salmon and steamed artichokes.
